Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada ( ISED ) works with Canadians in all areas of the economy and in all parts of the country to improve conditions for investment, enhance Canada's innovation performance, increase Canada's share of global trade and build a fair, efficient and competitive marketplace. In support of Canada’s efforts to advance broader prosperity, the objective of this requirement is to inform policy work at ISED regarding Canada-US relations, including the navigation of the geopolitical, technology, trade, investment and supply chain dimensions of the North American economy.
