{"description":"STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)\n1.0 Scope of Work:\nThe objective of this project is to purchase and successfully install a new cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) imaging unit at Harry S Truman VA Medical Center. This includes ensuring the system is fully operational with the necessary software, training staff on its use, and providing ongoing technical support to maintain optimal functionality.\n2.0 Background:\nThe current Carestream 9000 imaging unit at Harry S Truman VA Medical Center has reached its End of Life and is beyond economic repair. In recent months, the unit has experienced frequent downtimes, resulting in numerous patient appointment cancellations and delays. This has significantly impacted patient care services and operational efficiency. The acquisition of a new brand name or equal Carestream 9600 unit is critical to restore reliable diagnostic imaging services.\nCONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS\n3.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks:\nThe contractor shall:\nDeliver and install a new brand name or equal Carestream 9600 imaging unit at the specified location.\nEnsure system integration with existing IT infrastructure and ensure compatibility with current medical software. IE: VISTA imaging, CPRS and Future software Oracle. \nProvide comprehensive training for relevant medical and technical personnel on the operation of the new unit.\nOffer technical support and maintenance services post-installation to ensure ongoing optimal performance. For a Minimum of 5 Years. Base plus four.\nMaximum chin height of 67 IN and min height of 41 IN, chin rest must be able to move up and down between those heights\nMust weigh no more than 463 Ibs\nMust not take up anymore space than 59.06 (L) x 78.74 in (D) x 86.61 in (H)\nGenerator tube voltage must be 60-90 kV\nFrequency must be at 140 kHz\nThe focus for the image must be between 0.3 or 0.7 mm\nImage field must be 6.4 x 140mm \nMagnification must be able to do 1.28\nGray scale must be at least 14bits\nRadiological exams must have the following\nFull panoramic\nSegmented panoramic\nBitewing\nMaxillary sinus\nLateral tmj x2\nLateral TMJ x4\nSinus AP/PA/Lateral\nOrthogonal panoramic \nExposure should be between 0.5 sec to 13 sec\nTooth/teeth\nFull, upper or lower jaw\nTMJ\nFace\nENT\nUpper cervical spine\nInput voltage for unit should be 50/60 Hz 100-240V\nTasks:\nDelivery:\nDeliver unit to 800 Hospital Dr, Columbia, MO 65201.\nEnsure all components and software are included and in working order.\nInstallation:\nInstall unit as per the manufacturer s specifications.\nPerform all necessary calibrations and testing to ensure the unit is fully operational.\nTraining:\nConduct on-site training sessions for hospital staff on the use and maintenance of the new imaging unit.\nProvide training materials and user manuals.\nSupport:\nProvide initial technical support post-installation to address any issues.\nOffer a maintenance plan for regular check-ups and emergency repairs (base + 4 option years)\n4.0 Government Furnished:\nThe Government will provide access to the required installation area within Harry S Truman VA Medical Center.\nExisting network infrastructure will be made available for integration with the new imaging unit.\nAll reports and deliverables are subject to review and approval by the government.\n5.0 Deliverables / Schedule:\nAll written deliverables shall be phrased in layperson language.\nDelivery and Installation Plan:Â Within 10 calendar days from the contract award.\nTraining Session Completion:Â Within 30 calendar days from the installation date.\nMaintenance and Support Plan:Â Detailed plan to be submitted within 15 calendar days post-installation.\nDeliverables should be submitted according to the specified formats and schedules.\n6.0 Removal of Old Equipment:\nContractor to remove and dispose of old equipment that is on-site (Carestream CS 9000).\nIf trade-in credit available include discount information with quote.\n7.0 Travel:\nContractor personnel may be required to travel to the Harry S Truman VA Medical Center for installation, training, and support.\nThe contractor is responsible for all travel expenses.\n8.0 Contractor s Key Personnel:\nKey personnel essential for the successful performance of this contract include:\nInstallation Specialist:Â Minimum 5 years of experience with installing medical imaging equipment.\nTraining Specialist:Â Minimum 3 years of experience in training healthcare professionals on imaging systems.\nTechnical Support Engineer:Â Minimum 5 years of experience in providing technical support for medical imaging systems.\nResumes for key personnel should be submitted for approval.\n9.0 Security Requirements:\nPersonnel must follow VA security protocols and may need background checks and appropriate clearances to access the facilities and data.\n10.0 Data Rights:\nData produced, furnished, acquired, or used in meeting the contract requirements shall remain the property of the VA.
