Description
The Department is seeking information from industry on Aerial Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Uncrewed Maritime Capabilities to support civil maritime security operations. This RFI is intended to inform future capability planning by improving the Department's understanding of available and emerging uncrewed aerial systems, ISR technologies, operating models and commercial delivery options. The Department is interested in capabilities that support persistent maritime surveillance, including the detection, tracking and identification of vessels in remote and challenging operating environments. Respondents may propose integrated solutions or individual components and are invited to provide information on capability performance, communications and data management, sustainment, regulatory compliance, workforce requirements and delivery models. Respondents are also invited to provide information on solution maturity, operational experience, Australian industry involvement, export controls, commercial models, indicative cost drivers, and any risks, constraints or dependencies relevant to the capability. This RFI is not a procurement process and will not result in the award of a contract.
