Damages consisted of erosion and bank failures during a series of atmospheric rivers between December 2022 and March 2023. Work for this project is noted as Alameda Zone 7 Flood Control Channels, PL 84-99 Project, Phase 2 and Phase 3. The magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000-$25,000,000. This Procurement will be conducted under PSC CODE: Y1PZ, NAICS Code: 237990. This Invitation for Bids is a small business set aside. The size standard is $45,000,000. Phase 2 of the project consists of a total of 21 repair sites and is the base contract to be worked in 2026. Phase 3 of the project consists of a total of 20 repair sites and is the optional work that, if exercised, will be performed in 2027. The existing flood control channels typically have earthen slopes previously constructed to grades of 2H:1V, with channel heights ranging from 15-30 feet. The damaged sites vary in sizes. Repairs to damaged sites will restore the slopes to original grade prior to the storm damages. A site visit will be conducted on 20 April 2026 at 9:00 AM at 6900 W Las Positas Blvd, Pleasanton, CA 94588. This requirement is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE and will be issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) which will result in the award of a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. ALL BIDS will be due on 11 MAY 2026 at 12:00 PM PDT.
