{"description":" The Naval Air Systems Command, in support of PMA-261 CH-53 Heavy Lift Helicopters Program Office, intends to negotiate and award a sole source modification to an existing contract with Robertson Fuel Systems, L.L.C. Tempe, Arizona to deliver follow-on Tactical Bulk Fuel Delivery System (TBFDS) hardware for the CH-53K aircraft for Fiscal Years (FY) 2026 through 2028. The modification will include TBFDS Restraint kits, Conversion kits, Tanks, and related components. Robertson Fuel Systems is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and producer/supplier of the TBFDS and, accordingly, is the only known responsible firm with the requisite knowledge, capability, experience, special tooling, and test facilities necessary to fulfill the Government's requirements within the required timeframes herein. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. \n\n \n\n THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source.
