Mobile Refuse Collection Vehicle for Public Works Department

Description

The City of New Carrollton Department of Public Works is soliciting quotations from qualified vendors for the purchase of one (1) new rear-loading refuse collection vehicle, complete and ready for operation. The vehicle shall be equivalent in quality, durability, performance, and functionality to a Leach 32 Cubic Yard 2R-III Rear Loader mounted on a 2027 Freightliner M2-106 Plus chassis, or an approved equal.The intent of this specification is to establish minimum requirements. Manufacturers offering equivalent products are encouraged to submit quotations provided the proposed equipment meets or exceeds all minimum specifications.
