{"description":" The New England District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting lease \nproposals for 2 (two) parking spaces located within a ¼ mile radius of 1000 \nElm Street, Manchester, NH 03101. The space shall contain adequate \ncovered parking for approximately 2 Government vehicles both during the \nday and overnight. Must use Government Lease. \nAdditional information regarding this solicitation may be obtained from \nMarcia Marques at marcia.marques@usace.army.mil. Proposals are due \nnot later than 5 pm 5/8/2026. \nSubmit Proof of Active SAM Registration with CAGE CODE and Unique \nIdentifier. \nSample Lease attached. \nNOTICE: The following information is provided for situational awareness \nand is not required to respond to this Source Sought. \nAll contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management \n(www.beta.SAM.gov) prior to award of a contract. All proposed contractors \nare highly encouraged to review FAR Clause 52.232-33 Payments by \nElectronic Funds Transfer – System for Award Management, which \nindicates “All payments by the Government under this contract shall be \nmade by electronic funds transfer (EFT).” Those not currently registered \ncan obtain registration by going to the website http://www.beta.SAM.gov. \nThe process can usually be completed from 24 to 48 hours after \nsubmission. Contractors will need to obtain a Unique Entity Identifier (formerly DUNS number) for processing their registration. If you do not \nalready have a Unique Entity Identifier, one can be obtained from \nhttp://www.beta.SAM.gov. Refer to www.beta.SAM.gov for information \nformerly found in CCR, EPLS, ORCA and FedReg. \nPlease begin the registration process immediately in order to avoid delay of \nthe contract award should your firm be selected. \nALERT: You must submit a notarized letter appointing the authorized Entity \nAdministrator before your registration will be activated. This requirement \nnow applies to both new and existing entities. Effective 29 April 2018, the \nnotarized letter process is now mandatory on all CURRENT registrants at \nSAM who have a requirement to update data on their SAM record. The \nnotarized letter is mandatory and is required before the GSA Federal \nService Desk (FSD) will activate the entity's registration. \nEffective 29 June 2018, vendors creating or updating their registration can \nhave their registration activated prior to the approval of the required \nnotarized letter. However, the signed copy of the notarized letter must be \nsent to the GSA Federal Service Desk (FSD) within 30 days of activation or \nthe vendor risks no longer being active in SAM. \nVendors can check whether an account is active by performing a query by \ntheir CAGE or Unique Entity Identifier (known as DUNS). The new \nregistration process may now take several weeks, so vendors are highly \nencouraged to begin registering as soon as possible to avoid any possible \ndelays in future contract awards.
