Our existing system was developed in 2022, and successfully collects television, video on-demand and website data but faces significant limitations in capturing YouTube and social media audience data where automated collection proves considerably more complex than traditional media channels. The new system will replace NZ On Air's current system and complement the New Zealand Film Commission and Te Māngai Pāho's existing data infrastructure, with each organisation maintaining individual accounts while enabling data sharing on co-funded projects.
