Key details are below. C25/05 Sealed Road Maintenance Contract - Planned start date 1 July 2026 - Contract model NZS 3917:2013 - Contract term 5+2+2 years - Indicative value $5.5M per year (excluding emergency works) - Scope: Sealed road maintenance, including pavement, surface and shoulder treatments Drainage maintenance and renewals Structures maintenance Incident response, including to severe weather events Environmental maintenance, including removal of roadside litter, debris, detritus and graffiti Network services maintenance and renewals, including signs, rails, barriers and delineation Footpath maintenance Annual programme of sealed pavement resurfacing (separable portion) Annual programme of sealed pavement rehabilitation (separable portion) C25/06 Unsealed Road Maintenance Contract - Planned start date 1 July 2026 - Contract model NZS 3917:2013 - Contract term 5+2+2 years - Indicative value $5M per year (excluding emergency works) - Scope: Routine maintenance of unsealed road pavement and wearing course (e.g. grading, metalling) Drainage maintenance and renewals Structures maintenance Incident response, including to severe weather events Environmental maintenance, including removal of roadside litter, debris, detritus and graffiti Network services maintenance and renewals, including signs, rails, barriers and delineation All road network vegetation control (including sealed roads) Annual programme of unsealed road pavement renewals (separable portion) Further details will be provided in the formal RFP.
