{"description":"The National Park Service (NPS) Structural Fire Program Office, 3833 S. Development Ave. Boise, ID 83705, is seeking to establish a five-year, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for the inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) of fire protection and life safety systems in NPS buildings. The NPS is responsible for protecting over 430 parks with more than 27,000 structures, many of which have installed fire protection and life safety systems requiring ITM in accordance with the International Fire Code (IFC), referenced National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards, and NPS policies, including RM 58: Structural Fire Management. Each park is responsible for ensuring ITM is completed for fire protection and life safety systems in their buildings and the systems are working as designed to provide early notification of fire incidents and/or suppression of fires.
