J065--CARDIOSAVE PREMIUM SERVICE AGREEMENT -GETINGE

Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to GETINGE USA SALES, LLC to acquire an extended warranty for the Cardiosave Balloon Pumps located at the Richmond VAMC. Services are to include preventative and corrective maintenance. The estimated period of performance is expected to be a 12-month base with 4 12-month option periods starting 01 Aug 2026 through 31 Sept 2027. The proposed contract action is for service for which the Government intends to procure from one source under the authority of RFO 6.103-1. GETINGE USA SALES, LLC has provided a letter stating that it is the only company authorized to provide an extended warranty for the Cardiosave Balloon Pumps as these machines are considered proprietary to GETINGE USA SALES, LLC. As a Sole Source purchase, quotes are not being requested.
