{"description":" This is a sole source requirement for the repair of the following: \n\n \nNomenclature: GENERATOR,ALTERNATI \nNSN: 7RE 6115 011149696 VH \nPart Number: 70550-02031-111 \nFMS Case: SP-P-MDH \nCRITICAL APPLICATION ITEM (CAI) \nQTY: 1 \nRMC: 3C \n\n \nNAVUP WSS Philadelphia intends to award this requirement on a sole source basis under an already \nestablished BOA. \n\n \nThe Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient, accurate, or legible data to contract with \nother than the current source. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade \nAgreements. (FAR 52.225-3). \n\n \nOne or more of the items under this acquisition are subject to the World Trade Organization Government \nProcurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. (FAR 52.225-5) \n\n \nThese items require Government Source Approval prior to the award. The time required for approval of a new \nsource is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an \napproved source, you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP WSS \nSource Approval Brochure, which can be obtained on the internet at \nhttps://www.navsup.navy.mil/Business-Opportunities/Home/ \n\n \nOffers received which fail to provide all data required by the source approval brochure will not be considered \nfor award under this solicitation. \n\n \nThis solicitation is for the repair of 1 unit of National Stock Number (NSN) 6115 011149696 \n\n \nInduction Period \nThe induction period for the initial units in this order is 365 calendar days from the date of contract award. The \nGovernment reserves the right to extend this period by an additional 365 days, for a total of two years. Any \nunused induction slots from the initial year may be carried over into the second year. \n\n \nPricing and Options \nThe contractor shall propose option pricing for a maximum of 10 units over the entire contract period, inclusive \nof the initial quantity. If pricing will change after the first 365 days, please provide separate pricing for the \nsecond year. \n\n \nContract Award \nThe Government reserves the right to place the initial order for any number of units up to the specified \nmaximum.
