The overall objective of this initiative is to validate the ongoing effectiveness of Employment and Social Development Canada’s (ESDC) system of Internal Control over Financial Management (ICFM). An effective risk-based system of internal controls will support compliance with Treasury Board’s Policy on Financial Management. The Contractor will be providing professional services to the internal control team to assist with the on-going monitoring of the department’s system of ICFM on an as and when basis. o Work Stream 6: Financial Accounting Services
