PROC-9177291: CHICKPEA BREEDING

Description

Grains Research and Develop Corporation (GRDC) and NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (NSW DPIRD) have been co-owners of a chickpea breeding program, previously operating under the name Pulse Breeding Australia and Chickpea Breeding Australia, respectively. Recently, NSW DPIRD agreed to assign its ownership rights in chickpea germplasm to GRDC. GRDC is requesting expressions of interest (EOI) from commercial breeding companies, or consortia led by commercial breeding companies, to continue the breeding program for chickpea under licence from GRDC.
