Tender summary
The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to establish an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, awarded by means of sealed bids, for miscellaneous concrete work in accordance with The City of Frederick Manual of Standard Details for Construction Engineering References | The City of Frederick, MD - Official Website & General Provisions and Standard Specifications Engineering References | The City of Frederick, MD - Official Website . Work under this contract shall include but not be limited to new construction; removal and replacement of displaced and/or deteriorated sidewalk(s); concrete curb(s) and combination curb and gutter(s); concrete roll gutter(s); concrete driveway apron(s); alley entrance(s); and installation of pedestrian ramp(s). This IDIQ contract will be utilized on an as needed basis. Bidders shall provide fixed unit prices that will remain firm for the entire contract period starting at date of award. The City will issue Tasks to the awarded contractor(s) as required. Due to the nature of the work, assignments may involve significant handwork and piecework.
