Tender summary
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Representation in Indonesia invites eligible non-profit organizations and institutions to submit proposals for the provision of Soil and Water Analysis to Support Geographical Indications and Environmental Sustainability (GIES) Tool Application in Lumajang. The selected service provider will be responsible for: (i) establishing a comprehensive geographical and physical dataset for the GIES case study area; (ii) conducting soil sampling and laboratory analysis from banana farms in Gucialit, Senduro, and Pasrujambe, including physical, chemical, mineral, and heavy metal parameters; and (iii) conducting water sampling and laboratory analysis to support environmental sustainability assessments. The assignment will contribute to strengthening geographical indication development and promoting sustainable agricultural practices in the Lumajang banana production area. Eligible non-profit entities are invited to submit their technical and financial proposals by 14 July 2026 (Close of Business) via email to FAO-ID@fao.org
