The Town of Marblehead is seeking responses from qualified historic preservation consultants to undertake the “Old and Historic District Historic Properties Survey Update – Phase I.” Responses must be received at the Town of Marblehead Procurement portal https://marbleheadma.gov/procurement/ before 10 a.m. on August 6, 2026. The Town of Marblehead will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible vendor whose offer meets the stated requirements for project experience, sample products, qualifications, project approach, and client references, and the lowest price. Vendors must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History, or a closely related field, plus at least five years full time experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master’s degree in any of the above mentioned areas and at least three years full time experience in an area relevant to the project.
