Tender summary
The City of Reading (City) is seeking bid/proposals to supply general engineering of all disciplines (including, but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, structural, traffic control, paving, boundary and topographic surveying, geotechnical services, environmental services, technical specification preparation, project/program development, bidding assistance, implementation and construction management services to the City’s Public Works Department as further detailed throughout this RFP in clusive of all tasks, deliverables and/or products required herein. If the City makes an award in connection with the bid/proposal, Attachment J “Contract” and all terms and conditions of this RFP as well as all documents incorporated therein shall form the entire agreement between the City and the successful Bidder. After agreements are awarded, the City will authorize individual as-needed services using individual scopes of services, not to exceed fees and schedules using approved City purchase orders. Qualified firms shall initially submit a schedule of hourly rates and charges with their proposal that shall be used by the firms to prepare NTE fees.
