Tender summary
Please note that late submissions will not be considered or accepted. Description of Requirement: Natural Resources Canada requires a secondary metallurgy station (SMS) to simulate steelmaking processes (re-melting, deoxidation, desulphurisation, vacuum degassing, alloying). The Contractor must deliver, install and commission a vacuum/air furnace capable of conducting experiments for melting, and refining operations under air, vacuum and controlled atmosphere to CanmetMATERIALS' Hamilton laboratory. The Contractor must be able to provide additional water manifolds as optional purchases. The delivery and all work must be completed by March 31 2028. The period of the contract is from the date of contract award to March 31 2029.
