UNITED NATIONS CHILDREN’S FUND AND GAVI, THE VACCINE ALLIANCE REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) - VACCINES AGAINST BUNDIBUGYO VIRUS

UNICEF and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, is hereby issuing a request for Expressions of Interest (EOI-VC-2026-01) to collect information for vaccines against Bundibugyo virus disease (BVD). The information will help Gavi and UNICEF further understand developers’ and manufacturers’ plans and funding needs to enable future potential commercial scale production of vaccines against BVD. This will serve to inform the design of a Gavi funding intervention, such as Advance Purchase Commitments (APCs) with individual developers and manufacturers. Without excluding other sources of information, the information received in response to this EOI will serve as the basis for selection of APC candidates and furthermore will inform any future UNICEF procurement strategy. The EOI email submission shall not exceed 25 MB and shall include: An Expression of Interest (EOI) Cover Letter of no more than 2 pages The EOI indication Sheet in excel format (Optional) Any Supplemental information of a maximum of 5 pages in total If the email submission consists of large electronic files, it is recommended to send these files separately, indicating the order of emails (email 1, email 2, etc.) after the EOI number in the subject line of each email. i.e. EOI-VC-2026-01 Email 1 and EOI-VC-2026-01 Email 2.
