Tender summary
The HMDS 6B is a Counter-Explosive Hazard (CEH) system that provides standoff detection & marking of metallic & low-metallic surface-laid, shallow-buried, anti-tank landmines, trigger mechanisms, and deep buried Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) through the use of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) in support of area access route clearance operations. This contract will provide services including; HMDS technical services, depot level maintenance, HMDS technical, logistics, repair services, management data, and repair parts necessary to satisfy requirements for sustainment, and life-cycle management of the HMDS fleet. The Government does not possess the Technical Data Package (TDP) for the parts. Previous Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract W909MY-18-D-0014 with Chemring, Sensors and Electronic Systems (CSES), formerly Non-Intrusive Inspection Technology Inc. (NIITEK), 23031 Ladbrook Drive, Dulles, VA. A determination is not to complete for this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
