This Notice provides information on the current status of ESTJ2092PH1 (JP2092PH1) Guided Weapons Explosive Ordnance Enterprise Program – Program of Works and Defence's current intention in relation to upcoming Design Services procurement.Project ScopeThe JP2092PH1 Guided Weapons Explosive Ordnance Enterprise Program – Program of Works (National) will support the Government’s direction to increase the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance capability throughout Australia.  The investment in Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) is a key 2024 National Defence Strategy (NDS) initiative and requires additional investment in the Storage & Distribution (S&D) network to deliver a strategically aligned and fit-for-purpose network.The Project includes following Work Elements (WE) and associated scope elements:WE 1.  Mount Stuart Training Area (QLD) – expand existing deep storage node,WE 2.  Townsville Field Training Area (QLD) – New Surge Facility Storage and Transfer Hub (SATH),WE 3.  Twofold Bay (NSW) – expand existing deep storage node,WE 4.  RAAF Base Gingin (WA) – new deep storage node,WE 5.  Cultana Training Area (SA) – new deep storage node,WE 6.  Woomera Test Range (SA) - new deep storage node,WE 7.  King River (NT) – new Surge Facility Storage and Transfer Hub (SATH),WE 8.  RAAF Base Learmonth (WA) - new Surge Facility Storage and Transfer Hub (SATH).Potential tenderers are advised that the procurement strategy for the ESTJ2092PH1 Project involves the engagement of a Design Services Consultant (DSC) to provide design services, via Invitation to Register Interest and subsequently Request for Tender (RFT) released to shortlisted tenderers.Tenderers will be required to demonstrate their capacity to design large scale and complex GWEO facilities and infrastructure located in often remote and climatically challenging conditions, as part of their ITR response.The ESTJ2092PH1 Project value is estimated at $1.85B.Procurement OpportunitiesThis Notice is for the purposes of informing Industry that the Project will be releasing approaches to market for the provision of design services.It is anticipated that the Design Services Contract  -  Invitation to Register Interest (ITR)will be released in Q3 2025 on AusTender (https:// www.tenders.gov.au).This is a Notice of an upcoming approach to market only. Prospective tenderers are not entitled to make any claim for, and the Commonwealth shall not be liable for, any liability, costs or loss incurred as a result of any delay in the release of the ITR.
