Gila County Public Health & Community Services is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Lead Hazard Evaluation, Lead Hazard Control, and Healthy Homes Supplemental services for eligible residential properties throughout Gila County under federally funded U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") Lead Hazard Reduction and Healthy Homes programs. Services may include lead inspections and risk assessments, dust and soil sampling, lead hazard reduction and abatement activities, clearance testing, and healthy homes interventions such as moisture control, ventilation improvements, mold remediation, and other environmental health and safety measures in eligible pre-1978 housing units. The County seeks qualified contractors experienced in HUD-funded residential environmental remediation and compliance-driven project delivery to assist in reducing lead-based paint hazards and improving housing-related health and safety conditions for qualifying households throughout the County.
