Tender summary
The University of Auckland requires an automated flow injection analyser for the determination of nutrient concentrations in seawater. The flow injection analyser measures concentrations of phosphate, nitrate, nitrite and ammonium (silicate optional) in seawater samples through colorimetric and fluorometric methods. The analyser can be a continuous flow analyser (CFA) or a segmented flow analyser (SFA) and needs to able to detect concentrations to a nanomolar level in oligotrophic seawater samples. An autosampler needs to come with the instrument for automation of sample analysis. Support expectations: We require an automated nutrient analyser that has a long (>ten years) expected product support lifetime and offers local (Auckland-based) and online technical support. Onsite comprehensive operational training is an essential part of the support required.
