L'EPFL a l'intention d'acquérir un instrument de Résonance Plasmon de Surface (SPR) au PTPSP pour sa Faculté des Sciences de la Vie (SV). En accord avec les besoins de l’EPFL, une attention particulière sera portée à l'avancement de la recherche dans les domaines suivants : - La conception de protéines. - Le diagnostic, la prévention et le traitement des maladies infectieuses. - La compréhension des principes fondamentaux du fonctionnement du cerveau, tant en santé qu'en pathologie. - L'étude du développement du cancer, avec un accent particulier sur la conception de nouvelles molécules thérapeutiques pour son traitement.
