A headset adapter specific to F35 pilots and aircrew members, these adapters provide clear communication between pilots and members on ground with reduced sound distortion capabilities. Additionally, these cords allow for optimal peripheral vision as it allows pilots to comfortably turn their heads with minimal disruption. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possess the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. Market research demonstrated that this vendor is the sole provider of F-35 Y-Cables approved for use on the F-35 JSF. The T.O. specifivcally calls for this P/N and no suitable subs. nterested parties may identify their interests to this notice by showing clear and convincing evidence that they can provide all the needed assets, meet the security requirements and competition would be advantageous to the Government.
