Tender summary
Medite Smartply MS are seeking proposals for the provision of an MRO materials, repairs and operations solution. The primary focus is for candidates is to provide a viable and beneficial outcome to both facilities over a 3 year period with the option to extend for up to two additional 12 month periods. Currently our contract with Rubix will expire in August 2026, up to this period they are providing a fully integrated solution to both manufacturing sites. MRO Materials, Repairs and Operations definition: Items that are consumed in the production process but doesn’t form part of the finished product. The items in question are mechanical electrical and consumables type items, such as pulley belts, bearings, sprockets, electrical items, small large motors, seals, gaskets, lubricants etc…with the primary objective to deliver savings on purchases and eliminate stock holding levels regarding fast moving items. Both Plants operate 24 7 and are very much dependent on a constant supply of materials, repairs and operational MRO items to maintain the high levels of operational run times achieved over the last decade. Most of these items are managed through a stock Inventory management system where inventory practices are identical between both facilities.
