Tender summary
Health NZ – Hawke’s Bay wishes to undertake the following five clinical redevelopment projects at the Hawke’s Bay Hospital (HBH): 1. ED interim works project (including enabling works for an Off-site Manufactured Building (OMB) to be supplied by a third party) 2. ICU interim works project 3. Biomedical facility upgrade project 4. Oncology Infusions Unit project 5. Pathology Laboratory project. Hawke’s Bay requires the services of one Main Contractor to undertake all five projects as a bundle of contract works, coordinate the integration work and manage all subtrades required. The Main COntractor must have a proven track record in delivering and managing relevant works within similarly complex, operational environments. Main Contractors must be able to bring together and manage a team of subcontractors with relevant experience in live clinical facility upgrades and hospital construction standards, along with other mandatory requirements. Hawke’s Bay expects to see efficiencies achieved across the bundle of projects. As site visits to critical clinical areas are challenging and subject to cancellation without notice, we will provide video as a ‘virtual’ site visit. Links to the videos will be released on GETS via an Addendum. Part 3 (price response form) will also be issued shortly.
