Tender summary
NRC’s new Advanced Materials Research Facility at the CEI-Mississauga research centre requires a state-of-the-art partial pressure vacuum sintering furnace. This unit will enable the final stage debinding and sintering of green-state metallic parts produced by various additive manufacturing (AM) processes. The intended use is to sinter a variety of alloys in partial-pressure inert atmosphere conditions, with the aim of converting bound materials to fully dense functional materials. The system must meet all of the mandatory technical requirements outlined below and satisfy the mandatory evaluation criteria during the procurement process. All deliverables estimated to be received on or before 2 months after contract award. Solicitation of Offer Submission Eligibility. This solicitation of offers is subject to the Policy on Reciprocal Procurement. This means that only Canadian Suppliers and Suppliers of an Applicable Trading Partner, are eligible for this solicitation of offers. Offers submitted by Suppliers of a Non-Trading Partner will be rejected.
