Tender summary

Better Work Viet Nam, a joint programme of the ILO and IFC, is recruiting qualified national external collaborators to support the implementation of annual factory compliance assessments in the apparel and footwear sectors. Collaborators will conduct assessments jointly with Better Work Enterprise Advisors, applying the approved Compliance Assessment Tool (CAT) and Assessment Guidelines, which address child labour, forced labour, discrimination, freedom of association and collective bargaining, compensation, contracts and workplace relations, occupational safety and health, and working time. Key responsibilities include ensuring full adherence to QA/QC standards; safeguarding all confidential information and assessment data; preparing high-quality assessment reports in English; participating in peer-review processes; and maintaining complete, well-organized evidence archives in line with ILO/Better Work procedures. Collaborators must comply with the Better Work Anti-Bribery Policy and Ethical Code of Conduct. Assignments will be carried out across designated provinces from July 2026 to March 2027.
