Summary

DFAT has a requirement for annual and monthly tariff-line level international merchandise trade statistics. The data will provide detailed merchandise trade statistics for economies other than Australia at the tariff-line level. It will support Free Trade Agreement negotiations, analysis of trade markets, and the preparation of ministerial and departmental briefings. Service delivery requirements include reliable, internet-based Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) provision, with features such as data export and API access. The service must ensure timely updates that reflect official data releases, revisions, and corrections. It should also meet high standards of reliability and support, including defined uptime levels, 24/7 technical support, and responsive contract management.
