Tender summary

The Pioneer Trail and Williams Road Intersection Improvements project realigns Williams Road to the east approximately 150 feet and aligns to intersect with Pioneer Trail at a perpendicular angle. By realigning Williams Road, its roadway curve can be made gentler to better improve sight distance. Other improvements include milling, resurfacing, widening, and reconstruction along Williams Road; milling, resurfacing, and widening along Pioneer Trail, new 4’ paved shoulders, two new 6” thick concrete driveways/aprons at Pioneer Trail, drainage conveyance improvements, new storm structures, erosion control devices, signage, pavement markings and striped medians. Additionally, left turn lanes to Williams Road and to Otter Boulevard will be lengthened to provide additional storage capacity. Both intersections with Pioneer Trail will remain stop controlled. Travel lanes are 11-foot wide and existing posted speeds will be maintained.
