Tender summary

The City of Homestead invites sealed Statements of Qualifications from qualified Architectural and Engineering (A/E) firms meeting the minimum qualifications outlined in this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). It is the City’s intent to select the most qualified firm and enter into a professional services agreement, in accordance with the Consultants’ Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), Section 287.055, Florida Statutes, to provide Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services to assist the City in monitoring construction activities associated with the Krome Avenue and Flagler Avenue Water and Sewer Improvements Project, as well as the Transit Accessibility Improvements Project. The project includes water and sewer infrastructure upgrades along Krome Avenue and Flagler Avenue, in addition to transit accessibility improvements along Krome Avenue. Construction for this project will be funded through multiple sources, including federal funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grant, state funding through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Grant L0219 and the FDEP Biscayne Bay Water Quality Improvement Grant C2502, as well as various City-funded sources.
