It is intended that this RFP will result in the selection of a preferred supplier for the provision of quality body armour components and accessories, collectively these make up the SRBA system. In addition, the Department seeks to establish an efficient, cost-effective, and dynamic rollout process, as well as ongoing SRBA support services. This supply opportunity is for a proposed contract term of up to 10 years, with consistent throughput volumes as new recruits join the Department and existing SRBA is replaced at the end of its service life.
