A key community outcome for Upper Hutt City Council (UHCC) is the provision of reliable and efficient networks that support the city’s growth and functionality. This procurement relates specifically to the asphalt sealing of portions of the Hutt River Trail and asphalt sealing of the carpark at County Lane. UHCC is seeking to engage a qualified asphalt surfacing contractor with proven experience in delivering Asphalt Sealing works within the Wellington Region. A budget of $594,659 exclusive of GST has been allocated for the sealing of portions of the Hutt River Trail. An additional sum has been allocated for sealing the carpark at County Lane, c. 860m2. Project scope The sealing contract includes all aspects associated with asphalt sealing of specific sections of the Hutt River Trail and the carpark area at County Lane. The scope of works will include the following: 1. Asphalt design to NZTA M10:2020. 2. Asphalt construction. 3. Temporary Traffic Management. 4. Quality assurance.
