Tender summary

The City of Palm Desert is seeking a qualified Contractor to construct landscape improvements at three locations as a pilot project for the Median Landscape Master Plan. The project is intended to implement pilot median improvements consistent with the approved project plans and the City’s landscape standards. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, traffic control, utility coordination, and incidental work necessary to complete the project. Major components include mobilization, clearing and grubbing, dust control, landscape grading, soil preparation, irrigation and electrical connections, plant installation, boulder and decomposed granite installation, stone paving, maintenance, plant establishment, and warranty-related replacement work. The Contractor shall carefully review the plans, field conditions, Scope of Work, and contract requirements before submitting a bid. The Contractor is responsible for coordinating the work, protecting existing improvements, maintaining public convenience and safety, obtaining required approvals before proceeding with work activities, and completing the project in accordance with the Contract Documents.
