Tender summary

Sarasota County is requesting quotes from bidders to provide a one-time outdoor public trash receptacle sanitation service for W Dearborn Street in the Main Street Overlay District. The service area (the “Corridor”) is represented by the length of W Dearborn Street delineated by the yellow dots marked on Attachment B– Main Street Overlay District Map, attached hereto and incorporated herein. Each yellow dot on the map represents an individual trash container to be serviced as described below. There are currently thirty-five trash containers in total. Trash containers are located from the N Indiana Ave/W Dearborn Street intersection to the Harbor Lane /W Dearborn Street intersection i. Contractor shall clean and sanitize all trash containers, interior and exterior, including lids. a. Containers shall be sprayed and wet-wiped with a solution of water and b. disinfectant as needed (e.g. spillage on the top, sides or base). c. Liquid leaking from any plastic bag shall be immediately cleaned. d. Gum, stickers, and other materials shall be removed. e. Limited use of portable pressure washing equipment may be necessary f. to clear, clean, and sanitize trash containers.
