Tender summary
The United Nations is planning to run competitive bids for the long term Supply of Ground Fuel and Associated Services to the Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General in Yemen (OSESGY). Description of requirement: The primary aim is to enter into a long-term fuel contract, which, inter-alia will include the Provision of Ground Fuel and Associated Services to OSESGY- Yemen. The requirements entail to provide petroleum products (Diesel and LPG) and associated support services through existing commercial facilities at designated locations and deliver Diesel to Bulk Delivery Locations and Generator Locations. The complete details of the requirements will be included in the solicitation documents. Formal solicitation will require the submission of bid securities. No further details of the planned solicitation will be made available to vendors prior to issuance of the solicitation documents. This solicitation has pre-qualification requirement (see Specific Requirements below) Specific Requirements/Information Please submit your response to the below pre-qualification requirements via email to Birhanu Dgeu Gebeyaw at: gebeyaw@un.org. i) Proof that the bidder has experience delivering fuel somewhere in the world (e.g. copy of valid fuel service license in the country of the solicitation or any other country, OR ii) copy of audited financial statements where the activity of delivering fuel services is explicitly mentioned, etc.) OR iii) a copy of an agreement with a subsupplier that has proven experience delivering fuel, alongside the corresponding proof for the sub-supplier. In the event that the Company answering the EOI cannot pass this requirement, the financial statements of its parent company may be used for the evaluation of this criterion. However, in such case, the parent company will be required to furnish a parent company guarantee in the event of award. Important Note: Bidders can submit their responses to this EOI electronically however, response to the above prequalification questions must be submitted via email before the closing of the EOI.
