RFP #2026-009 Cannaday ES Walk-In Cooler/Freezer Combo with Install Mesquite Independent School District (MISD) is accepting sealed proposals for the procurement, delivery, and installation of a Walk-In Cooler/Freezer Combo for Cannaday Elementary School. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued to obtain pricing and services for the Food and Nutrition Services Department. MISD reserves the right to award to one or multiple vendors. Proposals must be received no later than 2:00 PM (CDT), June 4, 2026. All questions must be submitted through IonWave. The Mesquite Independent School District (MISD) Food & Nutrition Services Department is soliciting bids for the purchase and turnkey demolition and installation of a Cooler/Freezer Combo unit at Cannaday Elementary School. Mandatory/Mandatory Site Visit Information Vendors are strongly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to ensure accurate and complete bid submissions. Date: Thursday, May 28, 2026 Arrival Time: 1:00 PM Start Time: 2:00 PM Initial Location: Cannaday Elementary School 2701 Chisolm Trail Mesquite, TX 75150 Upon completion of the visit at Cannaday Elementary School, attendees will proceed to a second project site: Second Location: Smith Elementary School 2300 Mesquite Valley Rd Mesquite, TX 75149 Site Visit Requirements Vendors must arrive no later than 1:00 PM for check-in All attendees must check in at the front office at Cannaday Elementary School A valid government-issued ID is required for campus access MISD staff will escort vendors to the kitchen areas at both locations Attendance at the site visit is highly mandatory, as it allows vendors to verify existing conditions and project scope prior to submitting a proposal. Failure to attend does not relieve the vendor of responsibility for fully understanding the requirements of the project.
