The Government of Kenya (GOK) has applied for financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Kenya Urban Mobility Improvement Project (KUMIP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. 2. The consulting services (“the Services”) include the individual Sustainable Urban Mobility Expert . The start date for the services is September 2026 and the duration of the assignment is 24 months. 3. The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment can be found at the following websites: Kenya Railways portal https://krc.co.ke/tenders/ or Public Procurement Information portal www.tenders.go.ke . 4. Kenya Railways, (the “Client”) , now invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested consultants should provide: A cover letter expressing interest; Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV); Copies of academic and professional certificates; Details of similar assignments undertaken; Contact information for at least three referees. 5. The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs 3.14, 3.16 and 3.17 of the World Bank’s Procurement Regulation for IPF Borrowers, dated July 2016 revised September 2025 (7th Edition): (Procurement Regulations’) setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. 6. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultant Selection method set out in the World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers. 7.
