Despite not being headquartered in the city, over a dozen Fortune 500 companies are based in the metropolitan area shared with Stamford. Bridgeport is a culturally vibrant city with three museums, numerous parks, and significant venues like Seaside Park, the Total Mortgage Arena, and the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater. The Barnum Museum and Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo are notable attractions, enhancing the city's cultural and recreational appeal.
