Tender summary
The City of Chesapeake seeks proposals from qualified vendors to provide comprehensive training services, including, but not limited to, first aid (e.g., cuts, burns, shock), adult/child CPR, AED, and choking. The objective of this training program is to equip employees with the critical skills necessary to respond to emergencies effectively. To meet regulatory requirements, a hands-on physical skill assessment is required. The training should comply with all relevant industry standards and provide participants with certification upon successful completion. The City of Chesapeake desires a blended learning environment in which participants complete an online skills portion before an in-person, hands-on skills observation. The training must meet the requirements outlined below and be tailored to accommodate participants with varying skill levels. A two-year certification for participants is preferred. The selected vendor(s) must adhere to the outlined specifications, service requirements, and delivery obligations to ensure a high-quality training experience that meets the City's safety and emergency preparedness objectives. Please see OpenGov for all bidding documents and processes.
