BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK Major Improvements: Sugar Creek Water Plant: For Sugar Creek Water Plant, the scope of work includes the installation of a new diesel generator with a base fuel tank, along with a Service entrance rated Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) and a dual-purpose docking station. The contractor shall also furnish and install a new incoming service bus weatherhead per CenterPoint Energy Standards, including all required supports, fittings, terminations, and weatherproofing/sealing, and shall coordinate any and all required outage and service reconnection to provide a complete, code-compliant service entrance installation. The contractor will be responsible for preparing the site, which includes constructing new concrete foundations, slabs, platforms, grating, and handrails as required. The contractor will handle the removal of any existing equipment and the demolition of old concrete pads. Once the new equipment is in place, the contractor will perform final site grading to ensure the site is properly prepared and completed according to specifications. Additionally, final site grading will be performed after the completion of all installations to ensure proper leveling and drainage. The contractor will furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to complete the work as specified. PLC/SCADA programming and modification to owner facilities will be performed by owner pre-selected SCADA integrator (Prime Controls). First Colony Water Plant: For First Colony Water Plant, the scope of work includes the rehabilitation of the existing Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) and the installation of a new diesel generator, sub-base fuel tank, along with a proposed dual-purpose docking station. The contractor will be responsible for preparing the site, which includes constructing new concrete foundations, slabs, platforms, grating, and handrails as required. Additionally, final site grading will be performed after the completion of all installations to ensure proper leveling and drainage. The contractor will furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to complete the work as specified. Miscellaneous Improvements: The miscellaneous improvements include the following items: Installation of New Diesel Fuel Management Systems Rust Prevention, Painting, and Protective Coatings Repairs to existing Fuel Storage Tanks Before commencing any miscellaneous improvement tasks, a site visit should be conducted at each facility to verify the scope of work. Existing conditions may differ from those when the project scope was initially developed. This visit will be coordinated with the Owner's designated representative to assess the site and confirm the feasibility of the proposed improvements. The objectives of the site visit include: Verifying the physical space and layout. Ensuring all necessary infrastructure and utilities are available. Identifying potential challenges that may arise during installation. Discussing any required modifications or special considerations for the initial design or installation plan.
