Tender summary

The St. Johns River Water Management District (the “District”) is seeking submittals from qualified contractors to efficiently restore a total of 82,438 linear feet (15.61 miles) of wildfire suppression lines installed on the Lake George Conservation Area, Heart Island Conservation Area, Clark Bay Conservation Area and the Sunnyhill Restoration Area West Tract to natural grade, so as not to channelize run-off nor disrupt sheet flow. Suppression lines consist of both dozer lines and plow lines. Dozer lines are installed with a dozer blade to improve access for equipment, typically leaving large windrows of debris adjacent to the fireline, averaging 10 to 20 feet in width. Plow lines are individual lines established with a fire plow averaging about 6 feet in width for an individual line (the “Work”). The estimated budget for the Work is $46,000. All Work must be completed by September 30, 2026.
