Tender summary
The ILO DWT/CO-New Delhi project titled “Canada-India Migration Initiative (CIMI)’ is seeking to engage a consultant to support the development of a methodology for skills and qualifications comparability. The initiative will launch with a pilot comparability assessment in selected sectors and provinces, focusing on the content, proficiency levels, and occupational relevance of identified skills and qualifications. A dedicated core team, composed of key stakeholders from both India and Canada, will steer the process—prioritizing sectors, guiding the development of the methodology, and facilitating bilateral consultations. The methodology developed through this initiative is intended to serve as a practical tool for ongoing and future comparability efforts between countries of origin and destination. By establishing a structured, transparent, and evidence-based approach to assessing the equivalence of qualifications and competencies, the methodology will support bilateral and multilateral recognition processes. Please refer to the TOR attached for details.
