El propósito de esta licitación es realizar la contratación de los servicios sanitarios de cuidados continuados y rehabilitación en régimen hospitalario en Unidades de Media Estancia para pacientes beneficiarios del Servicio Madrileño de Salud, que padecen procesos clínicos que por su complejidad no se pueden prestar en el domicilio pero no cumplen criterios de ingreso en hospital de agudos, y cuyo principal objetivo es mejorar la situación clínica y obtener el mayor grado de capacidad funcional e independencia posible para reintegrar al paciente a su medio habitual (domicilio, entorno residencial, o cualquier otro).
