General work description: The consultant will prepare a planning/feasibility study for the Simpson Lane Bridge to provide the County with an analysis of the existing bridge to determine alternatives between rehabilitating the existing bridge and options for replacing the bridge. The outcome of this study will be utilized to streamline the PE phase of the project through the Highway Bridge Program so the solution to the scour critical bridge will already have been determined and corroborated by the Caltrans SM&I team.
