Tender summary

This Project will rehabilitate the existing seawall on the east side of the airfield at Peter O. Knight Airport. This project consists of: Pipe Repairs Repairs to the seven (7) existing outfall pipes within the alignment, including pipe section and headwall replacements. Washouts Backfill with earth and flowable fill of approximately forty-eight (48) washout locations identified to date. Major and Minor Seawall Failure In the areas where there are seawall failures and cracks that expose rebar to the environmental elements, cleaning and applying corrosion inhibitors to the exposed reinforcement, saw cutting and removal of concrete in the adjoining areas, and tie-back supports as necessary. Backfill and recompact existing voids, install sheet pilings, and install a new concrete cap and tie-back. Seawall Spall Repair The recommended repair of the spalling is to route and clean the crack, then fill the void with trowel-applied mortar.
