Tender summary

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) is the public transportation agency serving Northeast Florida, providing transit services to a regional population of more than 1.6 million residents. JTA operates multiple transportation modes throughout the region, including but not limited to fixed-route bus service, ferry service, and the Skyway automated people mover system. JTA is currently soliciting sealed bids from qualified firms (hereinafter referred to as the “Contractor”) to inspect, repair, test, and return to service Skyway traction motors installed on JTA’s automated Skyway transit vehicles. The resulting contract will be structured as an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with work issued on an as-needed basis. The Contractor must be reputable and fully capable of providing all materials, equipment, transportation, machinery, supplies, tools, apparatus, incidentals, labor, and supervision necessary to conduct complete inspections and perform all required repairs for each traction motor.
