Tender summary
The County of Sacramento Department of Child, Family and Adult Services, Child Protective Services (DCFAS-CPS), is committed to ensuring the safety, well-being, and healthy development of children and youth who require a higher level of care in a home-based setting. Whenever possible and appropriate, DCFAS-CPS prioritizes placement with relatives or individuals familiar to the child. When such placements are not available, children are placed with Intensive Services Foster Care (ISFC) Resource Families, who are equipped to meet their physical, social, and emotional needs until reunification with their families can occur. DCFAS-CPS has established minimum qualifications (MQs) for all eligible providers seeking to contract with the department to deliver one or more of the following services: Emergency Enhanced-Intensive Services Foster Care (Emergency E-ISFC) program services will support emergency short-term placement care services in home-based settings for children and youth, aged 0-17, experiencing placement insecurity and/or disruption. Enhanced-Intensive Services Foster Care (E-ISFC) program services will provide interim-level intensive and intentional services for up to 12 months in home-based setting for children and youth, aged 0-17, with complex needs at risk of placement in residential care. Enhanced-Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (E-STRTP) will provide emergency intervention and crisis stabilization in home-based setting 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, 365 days a year for children and youth, aged 6-17 (or a range of ages therein). Temporary Shelter Care Facility (TSCF) program services will provide emergency, non-permanent placements for up to ten (10) days in home-based setting 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, 365 days for children and youth, aged 0-17.
